New Paint colours are always being added and foreign paint charts created.
Why don't they simplify the job for us, by putting their Most Popular Colours on one Chart.
Anyone who has great difficulty within choosing colours, tends to either continuously buy more paint contained by different shades or colours until they get it right. OR just put up beside the colour they originally chose as Paint is so expensive.
What are those things call?
Answers:    All of the paint companies sell bound rings of all their colors.
Many own them broken down to interior and exterior colors too. I understand what you're asking, but no two people are alike, that's why they can contest any color.
I bought one of these rings (about $20), it drove us crazy trying to pick wall colors. Remember paints always darken a little as they dry.
