Is it just for ease of getting in-and-out?

Do more bugs (spiders, etc) crawl contained by the bed if the mattresses are on the floor, without a bed frame?
I like my bed frame because it keep the matress from getting damaged. The bed frame protects the matress, and I would think it would be harder for a mouse to crawl up a bed frame. I own a loft bed and I feel safe within it. I feel much safer in a bed. And you can craft it look soooo much better with a bed frame. Partly because they're easier to get contained by and out of, but I'll bet it's mostly because it's warmer off the floor. Also, a mattress right on the floor won't breathe properly and can hoard moisture underneath.
My boyfriend and i currently don't have a bed frame and own this argument sometimes. He doesn't think we need one, but i do. I regard as it is easier to get in and out of. I would guess it deters critters from getting into the bed, and it unequivocally keeps the mattress cleaner and it better shape. Also it provides more space since you can store things under a raise bed. There are probably several reasons:
-they are easier to get contained by and out of, especially as you get older
-raising the bed creates other storage space under the bed for situations where space is at a premium
-raising the bed allows for showy items like bed skirts which add good looks and warmth to a room
It's electric fire. it looks nice hahahaha answer my room Q
It makes it easier to get contained by and out of. Have you ever gotten up from sleeping on a matress on the floor? Nice too nice on a cold morning with an aching hangover. RATS, insects, etc.
