i recently purchased a top floor leasehold flat. I be hoping to convert the loft. My question is 2 fold. 1stly) contained by the lease it makes not mention of the loft at adjectives. Do i own it? 2ndly) in respect to go-ahead from the freeholder to convert it it states something along the lines of he cannot reasonably prohibit? What position does that leave me within should i ask and he say no?
Answers: The loft may powerfully belong to the person who owns the freehold. If you ask and he say no he will have to confer a reason and you would transport it from there. but he might see it as an augmentation As you've just bought the flat ask your solicitor
