11 years ago my husband and I bought a La-Z-boy sectional when we married. It was "okay". Very comfy but the fabric started pulling apart at the seam and I've heard that mechanisms wear out confidently. We used it for 2 years, stored it another 2 and then gave it to my SIL so I enjoy no idea about the mechanism, they worked fine the last time we used it.

But they were PRICEY when we bought ours and I can't find any prices for them online. I'm also reading that the standard is as bad (or many times worse) than what we have. We now have two pre-teens and two level schoolers - I need something that will stand up to wear and tear! I'm not uncultivated about the selection from Lane or Ashley (fabric wise) and I can't find prices on them anywhere any. If you have or had a sectional put in the picture me about it. If you bought it recently what brand and how much? It is is infuriating to be capable of gather so little information about something so mundane! Why do none of these companies trade online? <sigh>

Answers:    you are right . I was going to say lazyboy. but if you shop around you will find that alot of them are cheaply made no concern where you go.
