I've been looking to draw from a new bed, and I close to the set up ikea has for their bed frames as resourcefully as their styles. But considering this is something I will use almost everyday, I wanted to hear from those who have bought from Ikea. I hold other furniture from them, and while I like it, I consider it a different thoughtful of investment then a bookshelf.
If you can remember the model of mattress that you own, please put that in the answers, please. :)
Thanks contained by advance!

It be foam inside, with no springs. It be the first non-spring mattress that I have ever have, and I LOVED it! I had it for nearly 6 months when I had to (unexpectedly) move out of state, and I sold it. I LOVE that mattress, and cant loaf to get implicit another IKEA and get settled to obtain another one!!
It wasnt saggy on the edges like deeply of cheap spring mattresses are. It was firm adjectives around. It was approaching sleeping on top of a gummy, fluffy marshmallow. I LOVED that mattress!!
You can always bring a mattress top for it if you want more cushioning, but I thought it was fine the opening it was. At IKEA, you can try out mattresses within the showroom, before you buy. This fastidious one came roll-packed, so it be easy to transport. In increase, when I had to move it, I basically bought a little camp cinchcord, and I rolled it up again, and cinched it around, and tossed it in the backseat of my saloon. Try THAT with an innerspring mattress!
I also have the simple bedframe.

I bought it AS-IS. I had to break it down (bring your own screwdrivers, its quicker so you wont enjoy to wait), and it was trouble-free to transport and break down again when I had to supply it.
And I had the Sultan Lien slats.

They are curved, so they create a springiness underneath, and I dont know if this made the mattress more comfortable, but I loved it. They are an extra $10 or so, over the Sultan Lade slats, but worth it contained by my opinion.
You will stipulation the bed frame, and the mattress. You will need slats ONLY if you do not own a boxspring. Dont forget your Hamar midbeam! This is a metal u-shaped beam that supports the slats (or your boxspring).
