I've been doing some photoshop work on this house and am curious which colors you think look better for the house. Also I'm curious what color that repugnant brown railing should be painted?

Which is your favorite?

Thanks a bunch guys!
That is a very nice house. I like the washed out, too. It is brighter and cleaner looking. Go with yellow and I would paint the railing white. It will look greatly nice..good luck
hmm this is a tough one.. I love them both.. it's an adorable house.. very nice.. Their is a piece of me that is leaning towards the 1'st the blue one.. it seem to fit the style of the house better but what ever one you choose will be very nice..I do like them both but I really do resembling the blue.. have fun:) the second one is beautiful,Ilove yellows they other make homes look so cozy, and it also brings out the door and the brick.even the rail looks pious.
Answers:    This is a lovely little house but it has lost its way. It have a decideldy Japanese feel to it lent from the meandering hand railing and roof row. The shutters are too small for the facade as are the windows. Consider drawing the shutters black to go with the fanlight frames...it will make your windows look larger and more similar to a part of the building. Even though the shutters are incongruous with the style of the house, I close to the idea of painting them matching color as the window frames to give rush to the windows. They feel a bit out of size for the house.

Ugly brown railing should be stained black...go for the Zen moment. Believe it or not, your little house has great potential to be re-invented. Don't budge yellow! The first color is more in tune near the character of the house. Yellow is for sunny little cottages and bungalows. Organize your potted plantings, lay some pebble stone. OMMMMMMM :)
Best,

Definitely do the wan! it's more inviting and warm! Match the railing to the trim around the windows, white is nice beside the yellow! I like the first one(blue?grey?) Try to contest the railing to the door and the bench!
I think I like the first one better (it looks more earthy and close to it fits better in the surroundings). It has a cozier grain than the second. I might just paint the railings to meeting the shutters...off white? The yellow is much nicer and more inviting. Since the window have white side panels, I reckon a smooth white color would make the rails more contained by continuity with the overall house. Happy painting!
I love the second one, because it's much brighter. i prefer the blue/gray one and would paint the fence a murky gray
