For storage containers, I defaulting looking at 99 cent stores. Then I go to big lots. If you can't find an lower than the bed rolling container there, and you want to avoid wal-mart, look at craft stores, approaching Michael's, or JoAnns. I hate to articulate it, but I bought mine at wal-mart years ago. I love them, though. If you have to buy one explicitly for over $10 - just regard as of them as an investment, you will surely use them when you get out of college, too. They are great for wrapping dissertation, and projects you want the kids to stay away from. Good luck, enjoy college within the fall.
