Personally, plaid is not my thing. I was choosing an invitation for my big birthday bash and stripes be horrible with the design so I've hated them ever since. That leaves me near Polka Dots, which I might end up choosing for my invitation. Polka Dots really match anything. Polka Dots can be sorted into Classical, New Age, Fun, etc.
