I recently bought a home and the previous owners have three thousand, four hundred and seventy two paintings or something close to that because there are so oodles holes in the walls of every - ably, walls. So, I thought I could have a short time do-it-myself project (mostly to prove to my wife that I'm not ENTIRELY worthless), but I don't really know HOW to fix these little holes.
I was told to procure some spackle. Is this the correct move? If so, how do I apply it so that it's not obvious that I used any?
BTW, my house have cement walls.
Thank you in mortgage!
Answers: Get a 3" putty knife and beside a small glob on the blade, just wipe it over the hole. Make sure it squishes into the hole. Don't move any excess.
You may have to jump over it a couple of more times depending on the size of the hole because as joint compound dries it shrinks. Once the surface is fully full up in you might enjoy to run a sanding block over it to really seize it smooth.
small glob of spackle on the wall, use the spatula to press it in for a moment, it will kind of look resembling a small pancake on the wall then collect out the excess(the pancake) and the hole should be filled.......lurk 4 it to dry then paint over it......btw...dont agree to ur wife call u useless..........appropriate luck
