What type of couch (sofa) should I buy? I live alone in a bachelor flat, and I want to...

I live alone in a bachelor flat, and I want to buy a couch for my living nouns.

I want a couch that can last for a long time (durable) and a couch that requires little conservation as far as cleaning it is concerned. So I think a leather couch would be a suitable couch to buy because leather couches don't require a vacuum cleaners or something if it's dirty, all I can do is to wipe a stain beside a damp cloth and that's it. But what worries me next to a leather couch is that it becomes tattered easily and can well rip and have scratch and stuff.

Is leather couch the best option? If not, what couch should I buy?

Thank you!
Answers:    Leather sounds fine. You won't really hold to worry roughly speaking damage that much if you don't enjoy pets or children around. Quality is most important, leather or otherwise. We scrimped and bought a cheap sofa, it have a removable slip-cover that is flowing to clean, but we are regretting our cheap purchase. A pious quality sofa will age much better. Keep the colour nonpartisan and it will also stand the test of time next to any decor changes you might trademark in the adjectives too.
