My chandelier is about 25" x 25". I know the medallion is supposed to be around equal diameter as the chandelier. If I can't find a medallion that is exactly 25 inches, is it better to turn bigger or smaller?
Can I mix and contest furniture?
Answers:    The medallion should NEVER be the same size as the chandelier! This cause "tunnel-vision" an optical illusion that make the ceiling appear to be lower than it really is. You want the medallion to be LARGER in girth than the chandelier. Think of it as a plate that holds food - the plate should always be bigger.

A little bigger will look better than smaller.
