What paint to titivate a child's playtable? Help!? My nephew's borthday is coming around the corner and I built...

My nephew's borthday is coming around the corner and I built a train table that he can play with trains on.but I want to paint the top of it to look similar to a train scene...shrubbery, roads, etc. I just dont know what paint to use because I want diverse colors that are non-toxic, waterproof, and will end his playing. Can I use acrylic paint and cover it with acrylic sealer? Please Help! Thanks

Answers:    they in actuality carry some paint at walmart..its surrounded by funny names..close to rubber ducky yellow..its for things approaching this..and they sell it surrounded by the small containers..go check it out..i cant remember the mark..but its a white container...and they had red washed out green..i used those three they had others..this paint is for a childs room non toxic etc.
