I am considering taking 3-5 feet off the rear legs end of my 18-foot garage to make a bathroom for my ground floor. Will this build my garage considered "unusable" for resale as a garage?

Answers:    Doesn't sound like it will. Before starting however, you might check next to the local building inspectors in your county. The office should be down in the blue pages of your phone book underneath county government. Also might try searching through the Virginia Building Code (link below) to see if you can find anything. Unfortunately, it's confusing as h*ll unless you work next to it all the time...hence the call to the inspectors organization. Good luck
