What is the best runner cleaner?

Most runner cleaners are pretty much the same. It really depends on what you are trying to do. To get rid of odors I would suggest not using a runner cleaner but to use Simple Green... it works better than anything out there. There is a product we use called "Tech". It works on everything.

depends on the stain. I've gotten stuff out with windex where on earth other cleaners wouldn't. Aside from that, I use the cleaner made for the steam cleaners. Just use it full strength on bad spots and dilute it for lighter areas. It's about $8-9 for a gallon at Walmart (their brand), but it last forever. for smell, use pee pee - a product that can be found in kroger
for stains on white carpet, use contact solution - i get red wax and blue paint out of white carpet with contact solution
for stains on pitch-black carpet, just 409 will work

Answers:    Resolve is good for getting tough stains out. The cat occasionally gets a hairball and pukes on the mat and Resolve cleans it right up!

It's also good for soda and beer stains.
