Answers:    Are you clearly using glass and not acrylic? Superglue adhere real very well to plastic, and there's some pretty fancy acrylic goblets out in attendance these days. You'll prolly want to paint it anyway so that the rhinestones show up (they don't really pop against clear glass), and superglue adhere to paint just fine. This guy made his own pimp cup for underneath $20.
