What type of fanlight treatments grant the most glamorous look?
Glam calls for deeply of luxurious fabric and layers. Fabrics that hold a shine to them work best. Consider side panels over full-window sheers and a soft, swag valance treatment. The panels should make the floor, and possibly even pillow out and they should be hung high above the window. Pinch pleat is best for this look, but you could do pole top below the valance for the side panels. It depends what kind of style you approaching. I love plantation shutters for a variety of reasons. They consent to in or keep out street lamp very well, insulate your window well and last a long time. They're also classic so never budge out of style. I like the wider slatted ones. They're pretty expensive though! I'm getting ready to move out on my own again after divorce and won't be capable of afford them so I'm pondering about what to get on the window at my next place. Maybe just simple mini blinds and nice curtains.
Silk looks the most glamorous to me, no pattern or design. But I guess everyone have their own idea about what glamorous is. Here is an example of glamorous pane treatments:

I always thought the soft velvety curtains that look similar to auditorium curtains looked glamorous..but they might be too heavy or too tacky within the wrong environmment.
Glamorous Tiebacks, with an equistite pin can add to the glamour too.
Of course it depends what room you're putting them within...glamour in the kitchen is different than glamour in the sitting room or dining room...
or antique silk? That could be glamorous.
Colors, gold ingots, royal purple, burgandies, deep reds, silvers, blacks I would think of as glamourous
