Okay so I have had put down some vinyl floor tiles give or take a few a year ago, just the peel rotten the back and stick on the floor kind. Well its time for me to put down some up to date vinyl floor tiles, the only thing is I enjoy an indent about 1 to 2 feet long and around 6 inches wide. Its about a 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch open. I am really not on a budget to do any real major works on the floor, so does anyone know what I can do to permeate in this indent with. Please Please help out.
Answers: Well, I think you would just entail to purchase some embossing leveler. A small amount of it should help you (about a 5 to 10 pound bag). What embossing leveler is an easy underlayment put on existing floors. It is a type of attach that can just be put down onto existing vinyl flooring and spread out upon the indents to level them out. You enjoy to be quick because it does kind of dry without delay. After it has dried you can just sand down any rough spots and put down your exotic flooring. Also embossing leveler is cheap.
FIND AN OLD PIECE OF PANELING LYING AROUND AND PUT OVER THE INDENT,THEN LAY YOUR TILES AS NORMAL AND THIS SHOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM AND IS CHEAPER THAN BUYING THE SUBFLOORING.AND IS JUST AS STURDY AND PLIABLE.GOOD LUCK! Buy a piece of Durarock subflooring, Hardi Board or Wonder board from home depot. Cut to size and install before you put down the new tiles.
