Answers:    I would go next to a pale, creamy pallid. Possibly look for curtain/upholstery fabric within a floral with an even paler off-white environment and a touch of the crimson in the flowers. A soft babe blue would work with a trim or piping. The crimson will conduct yourself as a good 'anchor' for the lighter colors.

Oh funny you should ask, I purely did one of my bedrooms, the curtains are a dark crimson red and the walls are a light yellowish brown colour, (more yellow than brown) and the ceiling and trim are a matte white. It looks reasonably pleasant, bright, cheerful especially after the wood floors were done!
