Its a really tiny room with mustard wan tiles up half the wall beside cream wallpaper at the top. I really want to make it nice and modern but it is so small and i dont even know where on earth to start. Please help!

Being the bathroom you want to use a washable paint.
Paint your cabinet and trim in a white enamel. The cream wallpaper could be hi-lited near a very pallid grey, washable, flat latex.
So you could paint over the baby poop near the light grey.
I reckon it would look clean, modern and even so be relaxing.

not black, always something bright will enlarge up the room, try bright blue, bright yellow, bright pink or even white
