I have dark wood cabinet and panelling on the walls that I would like to paint over the paneling...I tried an avocado green, but it was too shade and the muted orange I picked ended up looking resembling a disco orange...HELP!
yellow of sage is always nice. try a washed out
We have and past its sell-by date white paint on our kitchen walls. You may want to refinish the wood cabinets to their natural color.

Answers: Does your kitchen get the morning sun? if it does a nice bright ashen would look good If it is quite shaded what roughly a pale terracotta shade or a light taupe or rich cream to supply the impression of light ,Would you know how to repaint the cabinets white or cream as the dark wood can be slightly oppressive
