Our walls are red with a really cool glaze on them and white trim. Doors are also white. We own gray counter tops (for now, don't have the $$ to replace currently) and stainless/black appliances and a wood table stained black. The cabinet are an "ash" wood color right now (FAKE wood though) I think they involve to be a different color, but what color? We would do stainless pulls of course, oh and we have a really cool stainless feathery fixture and white curtains with a little red detail.
I would go with a cherry wood stain. It would enjoy a red brown tone which would complement your walls. Have you thought of white. You know what let me think give or take a few it again i'm trying to imagine it.

Yellow surrounded by a kitchen creates instant warmth. It's a perfect color for any room that might be gloomy or on the north side of the house. An added bonus: Yellow blends well with tons other colors and wood tones. More tips on http://home-interior-design-tips-article... Answers:    I enjoy a couple of suggestions, paint them white, be sure to sand and prime before you paint. Then if you feel they are too white you could other put a light coat of stain on to tone them down. If you add the stain, be sure to do put stain on the doors contained by your room also. You might paint a red coat and then put black over that, sand the edges so some of the red shows through. Your doors could stay white. The fireplace mantle in our relatives room was white and it made it look very formal. I added a coat of stain to the mantle and it changed the undamaged room. It has a more informal feel and is a much more comfortable room.
