What color should we paint our living room!? We have creamy colored furniture, and a small round misty green furry...

We have creamy colored furniture, and a small round misty green furry covered chair. I also own an afghan with see blue, dark green, shadowy red, and light blue surrounded by it. Our entertainment center, coffee table, and side tables are stained Early American. Our curtains are dusk kind of a brick red.
I be thinking maybe a really bedside light colored pale green, at www.sherwinwilliams.com I thought possibly either fanlight pane, slow green or kind green. Or should I budge with a totally different color?
What are the potential vigour problems from breathing...
