I am moving into a new house, and my crucial concern is the color of my bedroom walls. All of my bedroom furniture is made of light, yellowish, fine wood, and I want my wall color to compliment it. But I don't want to paint my walls yellow. Any direction for a color confused gal like me?

I deem that "really teal" by Sherwin Williams would highlight the furniture tremendously. and if you need to paint the ceiling or any trim, I would paint that "ramie."

Answers:    I've be painting my undamaged house recently and after much debate, I've arranged to go bold! Contrast your paint near your furniture as to make it stand out more. Go next to your favorite colors - check out your wardrobe for color options! I realize after changing my mind so much that the colors I chose be a direct reflection of what I tend to wear. Go to the paint store and bring home the paint cards, pocket your time to pick out the colors. Then again, there's always white (::yawn::)
