I'm copying this room except for a few things. I'm wondering if one wall should be brown and the other walls should be white or if the wall with the windows should be white and the other walls should be brown. Or should adjectives the walls be brown?
i suppose you should paint the walls like a plum color lavender
There are two reasons I would similar to to say both:
WHITE- Pros: When you leave the walls white the room looks bigger.
Cons: I expect the room looks better in Brown
BROWN- Pros: I think the rooms looks better contained by Brown
Cons: The room appears smaller
If you don't care if the room looks smaller, then I would enunciate go with Brown. Love it buy the road!
Answers: Brown would be ok or orange to put more positive aura... and i also like the course it looks right now.
The shortest wall should be the dark color. A luminous orange would walk well. It would add to the "aura" and "feng-shui" of the room. Trust me.
Your RIGHT! one wall should be brown if that is the color your choosing.. ( call potterybarn or look surrounded by the mag as they will tell you what SW paint that is. possibly) Adding color to one wall will spawn more of a statement. Leave all other opposing walls white. You want to use the wall that will fashion since from the doorway of your room. Try not to cut off space in your room beside the bed... you could even try angling the bed in the corner( if possible) for more interests! Best of Luck! Keep it like it is contained by the picture, you should have three white walls and one brown - otherwise it will look too dark and the room will touch smaller and not as 'open'. The other colours will not look as bright and won't have the same effect if you paint the rrom beside more brown..
I think it looks best the bearing it is. depends on what is the size of the walls
