my living room & dining room run together-so i have 1 long wall. my theme is country-plaid couch, (reds greens blues)wooden shelves-apples and pears surrounded by the kitchen. what should be the primary color-long wall- & smaller walls to make it pop or tie together.
i give attention to maybe a brown will work nice but i dont know about the samaller walls what ever suits you the most :)

With this kind of decor, I would suggest that the color paint on the wall should be along the lines of Earth Tones, light browns, wispy gray's, something that will blend with the current decor and not be too loud or clash with the colors you already hold in your furniture.

You don't want to give yourself a migrain everytime you wander into the room, so try the Earth Tone colors for the paint, they are soothing and comfortable to the naked eye.
Answers:    play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you close to. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I close to that you can search by color family & color autograph, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I deduce it would look terrific to do a color called "blood orange" (# 7154) from their SoftSuede collection. I also have a country/rustic decor surrounded by my home & I'm seriously considering this color.
Go for a color out of the pear...like a yellow-ish green. It would be different, but tie everything together. Try a cranberry red. Makes wall look tasteful but will coordinate with your country theme.
red with a gold ingots shiny over-coat. this is what my mom did on one wall in her house & it looks amazing, the other walls are a tannish color. we have the country compassionate of house as well. I used a kind of khaki color to verbs my dining room and living room together. It's neutral, warm and go with just something like everything
