What color should I paint my kid girl's room?? I just found out second week I am having a touch girl...

I just found out second week I am having a touch girl and have no notion where to start near her room. I do not have anything within the way of furniture however. Starting from scratch. The mat is a beige color, and in that is one window surrounded by the room. I really like the look of night cherry furniture, but am flexible if the right idea comes along. I dont wanna obtain super-girly or overdo the themes. Just a classy looking room would be great! Thank you so much for any input!
