With white you can do just roughly anything, but I would go beside a darker color for contrast. Something close to "river rouge" (# 6026) would look fab.

you could go next to any color if you have white tile...I would right to be heard to find a color that is not too overpowering and that blends near the rest of the house...if your house is earthy tones, then try a standard lamp olive green (for example) but make sure that anything you pick is a bright color so it doesn't seem so neutralize from the white.
