What color paint do adjectives home builders use for ceiling? I am trying to match up the color of my ceiling but...

I am trying to match up the color of my ceiling but cant get close. I newly want to know if there is a common color or does it change greatly?

Thank you so much.
White white?
it does unhappily vary if it is custom colors .but almost 100% of the time is flat paint( keeps the look angrily away from light fixtures) i would tell you the premixed cieling paint you by within any paint stores is the same. so your best bet is (provididing it is white of course)to buy the premixed, cheapest , ceiling paint at your nearest retailer. it will be probably match . however, impossible to tell apart gallon mix put on this time may still not match the same color put on years ago when it be originally painted ..colors do fade and absorbe moisture causing an unlikly perfect clash. ..i am not sure why you dont repaint the whole ceiling. when you buy cieling paint it normally comes by a minimum of a gallon 400 sq' coverage and is usually cheap. "do it right do it fluffy ..do it wrong do it long" good luck It depends on the type of finish that your ceiling has. If its stippled or textured within anyway its not painted... If its a smooth ceiling white ceiling paint is all I've ever seen them use. Depending on how antiquated the house is the color might not match for a while, but it will eventually blend in.
Answers:    My husband has been building homes for 20+ years. His company other uses Sherwin Williams' "Dover White" on all walls and ceilings on trial construction, unless otherwise requested by home owner. If I were you, I would go to the local hardware store or paint supplier within the area and ask them what most of the contractors buy. That may be a good place to start. Good luck!
I conjecture the colors vary, but my builder uses an egg shell white. Pure or bright white looks too blue on the walls. Mostly white.
Usually the color of the ceiling is white but it still depends on what color your wall is, To gain the best results when you paint interior walls and ceilings requires planning. First you need to consider how interior sculpture fits into the overall design of the space. You need to consider color, interior pain types, products, materials and interior sculpture techniques. Before you begin an interior sculpture project, you should have an idea surrounded by mind about how the final painted interior will look. Acoustic white is normally extraordinarily close to the color of the sheet rock mud when finished .so that's what we try to match to keep it simple.
my guess is "builders white" (it's a real entity, i'm not making it up)
