What color of sheets would look best next to a maroon/burgundy comforter? I just bought the Damask Stripe "Merlot" colored comforter from Linens...
I just bought the Damask Stripe "Merlot" colored comforter from Linens 'n Things (similar to maroon), and I also bought the OFF WHITE/CREAM sheets to run with it. But presently I am wondering if just the WHITE sheets would look better near it. I am trying to go for more of a contemporary/trendy type of look. I also don't know which articulation colors I should go for.. So roughly I am asking: White or Off-White with Maroon bedding.. and which diction colors? Gold? Expresso Brown? Any ideas or personal preferences even would be accepting! Thanks!
Answers: I wouldn't go white, but the cream would be pretty. My set is an eggplant color so foggy too. I have a set of Grey that look pretty and also a set of bronze. Gold would also work. Also you may know how to find a Burgundy that a little lighter or dark than your set.

I'd articulate pink as well, unless that is to say too "girly". Then I would think around a nice beigy-brown color. I would definitely be in motion for off-white before pure white. Don't get hold of me wrong, I loove crisp white, but it goes better next to another crips color. Merlot/maroon sounds rich and elegant and would lose that richness near white
