What color runner should I bring for my sons's nursery? Our walls will be painted a khaki/natural? I would normally guess to go near a natural or suntan...

I would normally guess to go near a natural or suntan carpet, but since our walls are going to be a khaki color, that won't work

Here is what we own for colors so far

our walls are being painted khaki beside a crisp white trim with the closet door self painted white as well

and our bedding (and theme)is a night light greyish blue with a white trim and khaki/tan color details

I thought perchance a blue rug but I think that purely won't look right

thoughts?
Ooh, you could go near a nice sage color and go for 'baby planet tones'. You could match it to a print or something that will prettify the walls.

You could also consider a rug with multiple colors of fibers (pick some that meeting some that compliment). They often work out the best (and tend to coat stains as your child grows up).

No matter what you move about with, hold fun and enjoy!
Do you be determined the bedding for the nursery is those colors or for your bedroom and you want it to match yours?

I would contest one of the colors in the bedding, especially the quilt or bumper pad, etc. to choose a paint color. (or curtains if there are any.) Otherwise, a color that can be efficiently cleaned up and not leave spots, LOL!

And remember, the mat doesn't HAVE to match the wall color... it could be a dark shade of that color. There are many shades of one and the same color :-). Blue sounds good to me, especially for a boy's room... a short time ago pick a matching shade, I don`t know a gray-blue.
Answers:    get something near blues, grays, tans. etc.all mixed
Blue does travel nicely beside khaki, it just desires to be the right shade. I would take a paint preview with you to the mat store and hold it up against different shades of blue. My initial thought, would be a medium to a dark blue would match the best.
