Hi I have a small bedroom speak 12 by 10 or so. With a queen size bed that is brown colored wood. Two generous brown Wooden chinese Trunks... and a tan colored wall. I be wondering what color hardwood to put on the floor. Right now its a table lamp carpet. I own two pieces from home depot a light maple ... which looks amazingly light. and a spiced Walnut which is almost the exact color of my Chinese trunks. Do you believe it will be too brown with the cloudy floor? Please help!
Answers:    I would put surrounded by a light tanish wooden floor. It might look better than a gloomy floor.

hope i helped! :]
No, it won't be too menacing. Quite the opposite, contained by fact. Allow me to explain.

Although the room isn't one of the biggest around, it doesn't tight-fisted you can't use dark for disquiet of making the room small. You can go darkened and in some instances, it's even a channel to make a small room look bigger. That's the armour here. Think of this: if you were to turn with the neutral maple, your dark furniture will stand out similar to a sore thumb and will pop out at you, therefore making the furniture appear bigger and and so your room, smaller.

However, if your floors are the same dark color as your wood, they blend together and recede and drop away. This means your furniture isn't overwhelming and your walls spinal column up. I would definitely move about with the dark wood. If you're looking to make your room appear bigger, it's other better when the room recedes instead of jump up to greet you!

With the tan on the wall, you don't entail to worry going on for the room being too dim, as tan have sunlight in it and will remove the colour up your space.
