i have this bedspread: http://www.target.com/Contemporary-Home-... (what looks close to a yucky green is lime green)
i was wondering what color duvet would look good over it, or if you enjoy any websites. and i have natural colored furniture, muted colored.
Answers: I would go with the desk light blue. The brown would be OK too, but not to my taste.
If you can, take a taster or piece of the bedding to your local paint store..I would suggest a complimentary color. Look in the reds/pinks...you could also try the warm browns- on the red sides.
contrast near texture...if your material is smooth go near a "rough" .visa-versa...compare to fabrics in a cloth store also, this could give you ideas for accent around the room. How about bright orange?
It would pop minus actually taking away from the piece itself.
