I have a cheetah streaked rug, chair, sheer underlying curtains, and comforter next to pillow shams and bed skirt. I am looking to offset these within my solid curtains, my paint, and my sheets. I do not want to use black because I want all 3 to clash, and I think it would be to bleak.
Answers: Choose a contrasting color to the cheetah print, such as vibrant greens, golds, and jewel colors that represent plants and blooming flowers. Use rich neutrals resembling tan, caramel, and gold ingots for the walls. Everything does not have to be within the cheetah print, you may want to tone that down a bit and use it for accents instead. Example, a cream color eiderdown would be great and use the cheetah comforter folded at the bottom of the bed. The throw pillows can be the jewel tones of the blooming flowers.
