What can you put surrounded by a pitcher for ornamentation? I have a purple jug sort of shaped like a elevated rectangle....

I have a purple jug sort of shaped like a elevated rectangle. What can I put in it besides bogus or real flowers to gild with it? It is rather to tall to dance on my dining table plus the cat would knock it over and it;s just be sitting in the floor. If I hold it on the floor in a corner what can I put surrounded by it to make it look pretty?
Black an white checkered wall or solid?!?
Answers:    I'd dance wandering through the floral department of a crafts store. You will find many elevated varieties of grasses, branches, etc. to put contained by it. I would also suggest maybe weighting it down beside pebbles or clear marbles if you do put something in it. (I own a cat who would get into it, too). You could also put an up insubstantial in it to illuminate your corner.
