I constructed a new house and plastered(cement) in and out.Now I want to paint for the topical house both inside and outside. Some of my friends told, before to paint a new house ,it must be coated by primary steps. Please suggest me.
Answers:    Hi Jay...you own 3 layers of skin on you body and I think that when you enjoy the type of finishes you are describing...you will end up having 3 coats of something surrounded by and on your house..talk to a paint shop and at least someone who is 50 years old-fashioned who has been exposed to oil and latex paints..and concrete paints. Tell the paint shop exactly what you have and what you are trying to accomplish. Where I live we call the first coat a "primer" lately like a car...but different materials. Then to hold a really nice job and one that lasts.2 more..sounds tough.but not so..basically alittle time. Remember as in any paint jobs...it's singular as good as the first coat...so get some angelic advice...when in doubt aim the advice of many.enjoy fun. Roll it .shoot it.a friend of mine does both...he has an 18' roller..soooo.later
