Answers: Have you considered a water filter vacuum? They're expensive but amazing. Rainbow is one brand. A drawback is if you hold a two story house; when you carry the vacuum from floor to floor you enjoy to keep it horizontal because of the water within it. I bought one and was other amazed at how much dirt was sucked into the hose. The benefit is the water traps adjectives the dirt and dust and there's no blow back from the vacuum into the house. I also love my built-in vac system that I've have in my ultimate two houses; the motor and dirt catcher is in the garage and adjectives I have to pull around in the house is the hose and wand, plus anything attachment I want to use - weight is smaller quantity than 5 pounds.
