I'm 20. For 2 years we've stayed in this hostel. It was so institution like. Now we'll be shifting to the other senior campus. What else besides studying can i do in the room? I hold no idea who my roommie's gonna be cause i detest my current one. Anyways my potential roommie wants to have a fridge and a tv. Should i move contained by with her. What can i buy for cooking that is cheap and handy? (Besides microwaves)
And also something that the maid won't break when wash.a blender would be cool, and a hot plate or any other ideas?
Answers: You definitely necessitate to call the school housing department to find out what's already contained by the room, and whether you can change anything (like paint) or hang anything on the walls. How much room (sq ft) will be your share? How big is the bed (bring your own sheets). Is in that a bath room connected to the room, or do you have to hoof it down a hall to a shared bath? Can you put surrounded by a microwave and/or hot plate?
Look at the College Checklist linked on the site and get some philosophy. Find out from the school first. They may even already have your roommate's christen and phone number you can call about sharing full-size stuff like microwave/mini-fridge.
The Container Store just started a Dutch auction on Dorm stuff. Of course all of it is available there, but it may afford you an idea.
P.S. I had to put in an edit. You said MAID? What college are you going to. There will probably be no maid. Clean up after yourself. ROTFLMFAO
