We own some unexpected spots on our wall where on earth the paint didnt cover evenly. How do I fix this?
Answers: I'm not being sarcastic or kid when I say this: paint over the spots. Also if you painted over new dry wall, not painted previously, and didn't apply a sealant first, it's possible that the wall may have absorbed some of the paint.
One other article, if you didn't did it this time, the next time you paint, mix in a fine grit sand (special sand found at store surrounded by paint section) for texture.
My husband taught me that sand texture will help cover any inconsistencies within the wall. This doesn't hide inconsistencies in the fine art but it helps.
Good luck.
If the spots are any type of oil, prime, afterwards repaint. If not, just repaint.
