I just painted my walls surrounded by my home, and I taped the ceiling so I would have a straight, even string. But when I took off the cartridge It was not straight and some of the paint come off next to the tape... it looks really doomed to failure, does anyone have tips to brand name it look better?
Answers: you can get different types of cassette try using low tack tape, even when you use video to get the "fail-safe line" don't cake the tape contained by paint as this might cause some to come out of into the tape threshold, also don't leave the cartridge on for long periods thieve it of when you have merely painted and when your done peal away slowly except that just practice lacking tape near a good talent brush
get a bias cut brush from the hardware store. A 1-1 1/2inch brush cut on an angle. Practice fine art a straight line. next repaint. You can also use the blue tape that isn't as sticky so doesn't remove the paint when removed. Or they gross a paint guide that looks like a 12" piece of blinds that you hold up to protect the side you don't want painted.
