Vintage / artsy bedroom? i'm re-decorating my room and i want a vintage / artsy room....
i'm re-decorating my room and i want a vintage / artsy room. so far i only bought this breakfast at tiffany's poster and that's vintage but what else could i do? what are perfect stores in LA or the san fernando vale? i want to paint my room red or purple, what color furniture goes all right w/ that? should i paint my whole room red or purple (all 4 walls, ceiling, door) or would that be too dim? thanks!

Red and purple are not exactly vintage colors [ for bedrooms, anyway ], depending on which vintage you are talking roughly.
1] Decide if you want a time period [ 40s, 50s, 60s, etc. ] or a location [ antediluvian Hollywood, etc. ] or something else.
2] Then pick bedding, curtains, and
3] pick wall colors [ much easier to match paint to textile, than fabric to paint.]
Write stern when more decisons have be made. Good luck!
