Velux window? My stupid project manager bought a pine velux instead of the pvc....

My stupid project manager bought a pine velux instead of the pvc. Is the pine more susceptible to weather conditions. Will it own a shorter life span than the pvc. Any other details would be appreciable.

Most importantly, the velux is for a room which already have white pvc windows so will have pine and pvc look wrong together, especially if it comes to selling the house?
Answers:    Take it back and translate it do the job right and very soon sack the project manager.
yes it will hold a shorter life span next pvc. I just replaced a wooden one closing year. The wooden one had be in place just about 9 years BUT the wood had started to bow and incentive damp and stiffness.
Now get a PVC one and wouldn;t buy any different.
Can you not change it for a PVC one?
