We have brown framed pictures
a plastic white bed
a raw color glider chair
a gray/blue toy box
what should I buy?
Answers: Depends on if it's for a boy or girl.
For girl: Go really girly. The items you mentioned will walk with purely about anything. A frothy baby blue on walls similar to the sky with butterflies and clouds on it would be great. Clouds are smooth to paint with a older sponge. Look at the clouds outside today for inspiration. Hand paint the butterflies or buy wallpaper border you like and cut out the butterflies. Paste them to the wall following the manufacturer's instructions.
For boy: I'd drape with trains. Go to garage sale or look online at Freecycle network (yahoo groups) for train related items. Trains come surrounded by all colors so don't verbs about equivalent.
It would be really helpful if I know if your child is a boy or a girl?? I'm guessing boy b/c your toybox has blue within it. The first thing is to find a matter for your room. Get a bedding set in that issue. You can also get a rug inside the theme. Try printing pictures stale the internet having them blown up and framed. A few gallons of paint will also aid. There are a ton of things you can make yourself resembling memory boards, chalk boards etc...the catalog Lakeside Collection is an awesome place to check out www.lakeside.com, they have awesome items for toddler rooms exceedingly cheap, but trust me the quality is great. My son's room is adjectives sports and most of the things came from this catalog. Especially cute the lockers!
