Tips please? My family is going to be moving into our first house soon...
My family is going to be moving into our first house soon and its pretty small. Are within any tips anyone can give me on how to spice it up a bit and to engender it look bigger? I dont have a undamaged lot of extra money to work with. Plus this house used to be a rental so adjectives the walls are white. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated!
Answers: Enjoy it ,personalize it with your own style. Since your walls are adjectives white top borders are nice and relatively inexpensive you can stencil them or buy border paper (I get mine at a dollar store for a buck a roll) . I've found the best way to bring in small rooms look bigger is "cozy without clutter" Minimal furnishings and knick knacks. Use your storage space to the max. Store personal items and decorations and rotate them seasonally. Window treatments that are sheer and lightweight gross rooms look bigger as well (also inexpensive close to sheer panels from the dollar store, my favorite place to shop ; ) Best of luck surrounded by your new home I longing you many years of brightness there.
