I'd like some tips on decorate a gingerbread house, this will be my first year making one. I am quite creative but I would approaching to see what had worked for *YOU* contained by the past to take some more ideas flowing....THANKS~
Answers: All of the candies within answer one are great - I wouldn't use graham crackers though - you can find the baking pans that are actual molds for the right size pieces for the actual walls and roof of the house. The switch to a successful ginger bread house is the icing - it must dry to a consistency that will hold all of the pieces together - it is also how you stick adjectives of the candies to the building. I think a underpinning frosting made with Crisco and powder sugar works the best.
you can use a cube shaped tissue box for your frame...a box of gram crackers,Kraft caramels, toblerone chocolates, gumballs, gumdrop, bugles corn snacks, peppermint sticks, spry ranchers,m&m,or even skittles..good luck.
