I have a house that is covered contained by stucco. It is white and dirty and my wife and I want to paint it. I am thinking I can do this myself, but I guess I want an honest answer to what I am getting myself into. All our stucco is new, so I won't have to patch much, I'm thinking that I can lately clean it and paint it. I'm assuming a sprayer is the best way to progress about it?
Answers: i remember that when we were drawing the exterior of our home we used proffessional painters for that but for our garage my brother helped us paint , (cause we moved surrounded by a year ago into our home) , so the garage exterior was pretty dirty , first we scrubbed and wash it , outside we looked into certain places to see if there be any mold , ex: under the roof corners ect. and any nests we used bleach and bug spray and removed anything bad , and consequently we started to paint our garage by using cans of paint and a paintbrush , it's easier cause a spary go wacko , spraying that unwanted paint in your face and roof , we used big paint brushes and on the ruin we finished it up with a spray , painting the integral garage nicely and accuratley , well i decision you luck , remeber to cover the windows so the don't get dirty along next to the door ! well good luck !
Definitely use a sprayer. Textured surfaces are really difficult to paint near a brush or roller.
