what size spacers do you use for slate tile 12/12 floor .and do you seal the slate befor grout? appreciation
Answers: Use 1/4 or 3/8 and sanded grout. You can trademark the tile first but you also want to seal the grout after it dries.
We used 3/8 surrounded by spacers for our 12x12 ceramic tile, and it looks really nice. I'm not sure in the order of sealing slate, but we did trademark our grout. It seems approaching it might be easier for you to seal your grout and slate adjectives at once. But like I said, since we used clay I'm not real sure.
