I used to own an extra long twin bed with headboard, footboard, and rails that be from circa 1920 that I got for 40 bucks at an antique shop. It was within the Louis the fourteenth style (or one of the Louis' anyway) with caning on a wood frame and flamboyant carving. Perhaps this size is less common very soon? Checking ebay or your local craigslist.org might be useful to see if there are any elder models. But if you really can't find what you like in the size for your mattress, you might consider getting a regular twin mattress at a discount store or even used. I'm surrounded by a family of tall folks and what we've done is order an extra long twin bed through a furniture store. There's never been a problem contained by doing that... one of my nephews is 6'11"!
Answers:    i'm not sure I understand your question. You read out, "like every other mattress size fits on".

This doesn't make sense. An extra long twin bed is lone going to hold an extra long twin mattress. Other sizes are not going to fit.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question. Could you please clarify? I might be able to relief if I can figure out what you are asking. Thanks.

I'm sorry I misunderstood. Here's a couple of sites that have XL twins. Maybe you'll see one you resembling.

One thing you might do is go to your local furniture stores and ask them something like a special order. They may not have any XL twins on the showroom floor, but they might be capable of order some.

I hope that helps somewhat. If I run across anything else, I'll post it.

Oh, and one more thing...I know you don't want bunk bed, but you can find several bunk beds that are XL twins but you don't have to stack them if you don't want to. Most are made where on earth you can stack them if you wish, but can use them as regular single beds too.
