This is the 3rd year for my wisteria, no flowers but. Want to capture arbor, will one plant cover the together piece

Answers:    My wisteria did the same thing, and I read within a gardening book to dig into its roots--this will shock it into blooming. I used a spade and dug into the roots about 6 inches down and a foot surrounded by circumference, and it worked. I'd do it in the winter, when the plant is dormant. And yes, under the right conditions, wisteria can gain huge. Not only will it cover your arbor, but it might collapse it if it's not sturdy! Mine (I have 2) grow on pergolas made from 2 x 4's and pouring beams. They are beautiful surrounded by the spring! :)
Eventually it will - wisteria must be slow to develop but once it does you'll have to cut it back or it'll overtake your nouns. Be patient, it sometimes takes a few years to win blooms. Yes, one plant should be enough to cover it. They grow fast.
