The best flooring for our home? We live in a mobile home and want to replace hearth rug...

We live in a mobile home and want to replace hearth rug in a room that have became completely destroyed (the carpet). The room is 18 L and 13 W. We would similar to something similar to hardwood, vinyl, tile, somewhere in that list, NO MORE CARPET. Were on a fixed budget, what is the best type of floor to put in this room, installation -- how desperate is it?, and the price and where to purchase it. Thank you within advance! Just want some honest opinion.

Answers:    I did my mobile in wood laminate, and I love it !!! it's so jammy to care for. My daughter and I did it ourselves, it's exceptionally easy.
I bought mine at home depot, $26.00 a box, the box have the sq. footage on it.
Get the kind near the foam backing already attached, it's alot easier.
