Teen room HELP!!? I am decorating my room. It is kind of a slow process...
I am decorating my room. It is kind of a slow process because we don't own a lot of money. I have dark blue carpet(it was light task force blue but is really worn), white wall, twin bed, desk, dresser, ugly gold and black lamp. I LOVE the beach and want it to be beach inspired, not themed. I LOVE color and am amazingly girly. My dad doesn't really want pink walls. I have this quilt that is brigt pink, blue, green, orane. It is small and have a flower in each square. It is quality of like those pictures by that one guy who did the soup cans(can't think of the pet name. Andy something??) Anyways, I definteyly want to keep that. I have a lime green butterfly bench, a white comforter, and blue black out curtian. Definetly keepinf those. If you have links to how do swathe everything that would be great, but it isn't needed. Keep in mind I don't have abundantly of money.
Thanks a bunch!!(sorry for length!!)
Answers: i think if you painted your room a light blue similar to baby blue or even sky blue it could make the room work from the sounds of it. its tricky to say though you should get paint sample room color would be the best. you should get something to fix up your lamps or something cheap.
what i did be paint my walls lime green not a gross green but cool
then i got a circle eiderdown (bed bath and beyond) with different shades of brown and different shades of green and lighting blue
it is really cute
then i just go to target and got darker brown shadow boxes and put cute pics of friends and clan
then i framed some cute quotes and also put those on the boxes
dont forget a mirror because it make your room look bigger
and put your bed lower than the window
or anyplace where it looks more similar to a couch when you arent sleeping in it maybe take some pillows to put against the wall to give it a couch feel
i also hold dark brown suede cutains
hope this helps
